By Brother Christopher Kordek
January 4, 2010

1647 hrs communications alerted Engine Company 601, Medic 613, Rescue 613, BC 601 (Nally) and Safety 600 (Fry) for Vehicle accident , one overturned and one possibly trapped. Engine 622 added to the run due to their location. Soon after Safety 600 arrived with one car on its side, down an embankment with one trapped inside. Rescue 13 arrived and started stabilization, placing Paratech struts on the underside of the car. Engine 622 arrived and assisted Rescue 613 with extrication efforts. Engine Company 601 arrived and assumed the command. Rescue 13 performed a Roof flap, allowing room for the Engine and EMS crews to gain accesses to the trapped occupant. PT was extricated and transported via ground by medic 13. Units began to pick and return to service around 1730hrs. Good work by all who operated on the cut job.
