I just saw the video on structure fire ( meadowcreek rd I think it was ) and just wanted to say your guys did a great job of saving the lives of their brother firefighters after structure collapsed on them. It just goes to show how we sometimes take these residential fires to be routine and they turn out to be much more than expected. Size up, I.C. , and Personnel Accountability play a huge role in these situations. I hope and pray all the injured firefighters are or have recovered from from this incident. God Bless and Stay Safe. Best Regards Captain Mark Webb- D.C.F.D. STATION 1/A-SHIFT

A BIG heartfelt thank you to all of those that responded to the head on, roll over crash on Christmas Day on Charles Town Pike. We really appreciate the care that all of you took in getting us out of the vehicle we were trapped in and getting us all medical treatment quickly.

Dear members of IAFF,
I am seeking your assistance to find out if anybody knows a EMS member by the name of Todd Young, from Canada.
We are good friends and I received an alarming sms on 5th September that he is injured an in ICU. I have no further information like which which unit he is attached to. This is not a joke. I am just a friend who cares and unfortunately lives on the other side of the continent. My parents were medical field too therefore I understand the sacrifices you've made for others.
Nice site very up to date, check out brunswicks and see what we get into just across te river

Just sending along the sincere prayers and thoughts of my wife and I to the one remaining Loudoun County firefighter at the Burn Center. Having walked in your shoes many years ago and now the proud parents of a Daughter and Son-in Law serving as Career Paramedic/firefighters in Montgomery County, Maryland all of you will always be in our prayers for what you do! As the author of the Letter to the Editor published in the Leesburg TODAY newspaper, I am still incensed at the insensitivity and disrespect shown to our local firefighters during the recent house fire. Please advise if there is any more any of us can do for your Department and your member still recovering.

As all firefighters are aware, the JOB is dangerous. Fire fighters look into the eyes of danger every time they go out the door, but they never hesitate to respond and save life or property when called to do so.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all those injured, their families and fellow fire fighters. I pray for a speedy recovery for all those involved.
